Good Vibes

Weekends are usually meant to relax yourself, enjoing your hobbies, meeting up with friends. So did I.

On Saturday, my friends and I went cycling to a town called Clusone in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy, close to the Iseo lake and surrounded by the mountains. We started our trip from Bergamo looking for the cycle path, a good choice if you want to avoid cars and get in touch with nature.

The byke path has the charatteristc to show good views, every time you can check how many kilometres are left thanks to the signals, there are little kiosks on the way for beverage&snacks, pretty good!

This was my first time, I really enjoyed the bike riding! At first we were unsure of going because it had been raining the night before but we kept our fingers crossed and the next morning the weather was on our side. One of the things I liked most was the view.

After 42 km we reached the town, Clusone. We spent a couple of hours here, checking out the place, eating lunch and relax.

Clock Square

What about this town then? It’s small but pretty interesting, for example the square has a big clock tower. It was built by Pietro Fanzago in 1582 ( pretty old but still working!), a perfect mechanism that shows apart from the time, the costellation of the zodiac and much more. The clock is loaded up by hands every day since 400 hundred years.

In total we cycled 85 km more or less, definitely worth it coming here for the view though.

The best way to finish a cycling with friends, during a hot day is gelato, YES!.

In conclusion, saturday was fun, good vibes.
