Pontida

Pontida is the name given to this little cozy cafe in Bergamo downtown. The cafe defines itself as a little corner where to take a break in a confortable place.

I stopped by with my friend Miranda and my girfriend for something warm to drink. All of us got the chocolate mug cake, recommended by the owner.

It was definitely a surprise! Chocolate muffin at the bottom and hot chocolate on top served with whipped cream and chocolate pralines. Yummy!

There are different types of chocolate flavours. We got dark chocolate, orange-cinnamon and white chocolate.

I loved the sweet cream flavor of the whipped cream mixing with the hot chocolate. The slices of the cake were complimentary. Simple sponge cake slices, a good combination to pair up with the hot chocolate.

During these cold days hot chocolate is a blessing! I want to thank again my friend Miranda for taking us here and the friendly owner of the cafe. The chocolate mug cake is also take away and #gluten free. Pontida is a good foodie find in Bergamo for a sweet break for sure!
